Welcome to Hinterthal Ski Resort
The picturesque village of Hinterthal is one of five villages in the Hochkonig region and the heart of Austria’s Salzburg province. The village itself might be small, but it’s definitely punching above its weight when it comes to the local area.
Hinterthal has direct access to 61km of downhill skiing. But if you venture a bit further you’ll find the main ski area of Maria Alm and Muhlbach – connected via a gondola. Here you can shred 120 km of slopes or hike 30km of cross-country trails. And for the adrenaline junkies, there’s floodlit toboggan runs to ‘peak’ your interest. All set against the impressive backdrop of the Hochkonig mountain range.
