Our Protection Promise
We are a fully ATOL-bonded operator, which means that your holiday has full financial protection under the government-backed ATOL scheme. Whatever happens, your money is safe.
If the situation changes and we have to cancel your holiday, you can either move your holiday to a new date or take a full credit or cash refund. That's guaranteed.
Keep your deposit
Plan your ski holiday with confidence. If your plans change and you don’t want to pay your balance before departure, we’ll refund you the deposit as Ski Zoom credit, so you won’t be out of pocket.
When you are ready to get out on the slopes, or to the Alps in the summer, you can use that credit towards a new holiday.

Get locked down whilst you’re on holiday? We’ll get you home. Not happy with your accommodation? We’ll find a solution. We also have 24/7 support whilst you’re away.
Plans change, we get it. That’s why we have never charged amendment fees on any bookings.
Some of our partners, such as airlines, may charge change fees. We may have to pass these on to you in order to amend your booking. However, there will never be any administrative fees charged by us.
What does the government’s traffic light system mean for my holiday?
Your holiday will go ahead as planned. There is no need to self isolate on your return.
Your holiday will go ahead as planned. If you are double-vaccinated or under 18, you will not need to self-isolate on your return.
If you are not double-vaccinated you will need to isolate for 10 days on return to the UK and take tests on days 2 and 8. The 10-day isolation period can be cut to 5 under the test-to-release scheme, by paying for a test on day 5. To end the isolation period, your test result will need to be negative.
If your destination is on the red list between 40 and 7 days before you are due to travel, we will waive our normal cancellation policy. You can choose to cancel your holiday and receive a full credit refund with 2-year validity.
If your destination is still on the red list within 7 days of departure, and you chose not to cancel your holiday we will provide a full cash refund.
Alternatively, we can offer alternative dates and destinations, if you prefer.
What happens if my destination requires quarantine for UK arrivals?
If the destination you’re travelling to enforces quarantine on arrival and there isn’t the option to skip this by providing a negative Covid test or by being fully vaccinated, we offer a range of flexible options.
If your destination has a mandatory quarantine policy in place between 7 and 40 days before you are due to travel, we will waive our normal cancellation policy. You can choose to cancel your holiday and receive a full credit refund with 2-year validity.
If it is within 7 days of departure, and you chose not to cancel your holiday we will provide a full cash refund. Alternatively, we can offer alternative dates and destinations, if you prefer.
If quarantine can be skipped by providing a negative covid test, or through vaccination, your holiday will go ahead as planned.
What changes and amendments can I make to my holiday?
If you need to make a change to your holiday you won’t be charged any amendment fees by us.
Additionally, we have negotiated super-flexible terms with our suppliers – especially if you’re making changes more than 30 days before you are due to travel. However, some hotels and airlines may still apply charges which would be payable by you.

I no longer want to travel, what are my options?
To give you peace of mind, we’re providing industry-leading flexibility.
1. When it comes to paying the balance for your holiday (12 weeks before departure), you can cancel your booking without penalty if you decide that you don’t want to travel. Rather than lose your deposit, we’ll convert it into credit with a 2-year validity, so you won’t be out of pocket.
2. We don’t charge any change fees, and have negotiated super-flexible terms with our suppliers. This means that date and destination changes can be made without penalty in most cases, especially if requested more than 30 days before you are due to travel.
3. If your destination is on the red list between 40 and 7 days before you are due to travel, you can choose to cancel your holiday and receive a full credit refund with 2-year validity.
4. If between 40 and 7 days before you are due to travel, your destination enforces quarantine on arrival and it can’t be skipped by testing or vaccination, you can choose to cancel your holiday and receive a full credit refund with 2-year validity.
What happens if I have covid or need to isolate?
Just contact us and we’ll be happy to help you amend your holiday date. We won’t charge you any admin or change fees. Please note that some airlines and hotels may charge change fees which would be payable by you.
For added peace of mind and to keep you covered against a wide range of scenarios, we recommend taking out travel insurance – just make sure the policy meets all your needs and includes adequate cancellation cover due to Covid-19.
How much do tests cost?
The UK government requires testing on arrival back to the UK from both green and amber countries. Prices vary from supplier to supplier, and you can see the testing requirements and official supplier list on the government website.
